Pink Floyd is a British rock band formed in 1965. The band's sound included elements of progressive rock, psychedelic rock, and space rock. The saxophone was occasionally used in their music, particularly on their later albums such as "Wish You Were Here" and "The Wall". The saxophone parts were played by session musician Dick Parry, who became known as Pink Floyd's saxophonist. Some of Parry's most famous saxophone solos include the ones on "Money" and "Shine On You Crazy Diamond". The saxophone added a unique sound to Pink Floyd's music, and helped to establish the band's distinctive sound and style.
